Pre-registrations for workshops

Online registration will close on Thursday June 8th.
Starting June 9th, you can register on-site (the congress venue) starting Monday June 13th at 8.30 pm. However, registration on site will take some time, and you want to avoid queuing. Best time to register on site would be Monday 13th at 9 – 10 a.m., or any other time but we expect crowds on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
E-Tickets and APP
On June 9th, all persons registered will receive an e-ticket by email and also a link to upload the congress app to your own device. This app will give you access to all speakers abstracts and many electronic posters, as well as program information and means to contact other participants personally. Furthermore, you can optically scan your way to other links. The app will work on smartphones, tablets and the like and remain functional for some time after the congress.

Below you find all conditions for participant registration. Activities with limited access will be offered when scheduled and you’ll be notified accordingly.

** Students have to hold a valid student card (picture ID) with a university or college to qualify for a reduced rate. Alternatively, the organizers will consider an authorized (written and signed) statement from an education institute to the same effect. A pdf version of this document needs to be uploaded while registering for the congress.
PhD students are not considered as students and will need to pay the regular member/non-member rates. Young scientists may seek to qualify for bursaries issued nationally or internationally.
***Accompanying persons will receive a badge giving access to the exhibition and poster areas only. They have free access to the welcome reception but need to register.
Participants who wish to invite an additional person only for the welcome reception or gala dinner can do so while registering for the events.
FELASA, ICLAS European Regional Committee (ICLAS ERC), and Laboratory Animals Ltd are offering scholarships to young European laboratory animal scientists presenting an abstract at the FELASA Congress to be held in Brussels, Belgium, 13- 16 June 2016.
There will be eleven scholarships of 800.- EUR each, sponsored by FELASA, ICLAS, and Laboratory Animals Ltd. For more information on the application process click here.
The basic registration fee includes
- admission to all scientific sessions and workshops – except those with limited access and the ones requiring a fee. Those activities will be posted when they become available and registered participants will be notified. Admission will be distributed on a first come-first serve basis. Double registrations for restricted activities scheduled in parallel should be avoided.
- admission to the exhibition and poster areas
- access to the welcome reception (registration obligatory)
- congress materials
- certificate of attendance
- coffee breaks and lunches
Registration will only become effective on the date we receive your payment and not on the date of your registration. Registration will be confirmed by email including a link to download your invoice.
Nearer the congress, you will be sent a confirmation letter asking you to print the letter which you will need to present at the registration desk upon arrival at the congress. There you will receive your personalised badge and entry tickets to the side events.
During the congress this badge must be clearly visible at any time on-site at the venue. Entrance to the session rooms as well as to the poster and exhibition areas will only be permitted to persons wearing the congress badge or having the correct extra ticket. For security reasons, you also always need to carry your ID card/passport.
Note: In case of loss or damage, badges can be reprinted at the reception desk.
In case of loss, charges for reprinting a badge are € 41,32 (excl. VAT).
Terms and methods of payment
All invoice are payable to JuSt Services bvba (EventConsulting.be). All payment must be made in euros (€) free of charge for JuSt Services bvba.
- Preferred method of payment: online payment by credit card. Transfer/transaction costs are 1,40 % + 21% VAT and will be added to the total amount. You will be sent an invoice immediately after payment.
- Alternative method: Bank transfers. Bank transfers can only be accepted until 30 April 2016. After that date only credit cards can be accepted.

Any bank charges must be charged to the buyer.

Cancellation or transfer of registrations
The Congress Office should receive a notice of cancellation by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In case of cancellation before the published early bird deadline, the payment will be refunded, minus a handling charge of € 100 (excl. 21% VAT).
In all other cases, no refund will be made.
Transfer of registration to another person is only possible after acceptance by the Organiser (email@example.com) and after payment of an administration cost of € 41,32 (excl.21% VAT).
